Happy February! Since February is "the Month of Love," it's only fitting that I find myself doing a cover for a romance novel, dontchya think? Granted, if you can't tell, it's a sci-fi romance novel.
I owe author A. Star a big one, so this is a "thank you" gift I'm doing for her. The pic still has a long way to go, but I think it's turning out nicely so far. ;)
I went back to an old love of mine, Painter 11, so I could use some digital brushes that convey the type of painting style many artists use in their romance covers. I'll switch back and forth between that and Photoshop, tweaking it here and there until the appointed time. Ah, and a big thanks to Tiffany Jill from her DeviantArt account for letting me use one of her stock images for reference.
